Application Development Senior Manager

The job profile for this position is Application Development Senior Manager which is a Band 4 Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services. Inc.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage high performing data engineering team.

• Lead architecture design and implementation of data pipelines and ETL processes using big data and AWS cloud ecosystem.

• Research, evaluate, and utilize new technologies, tools, and frameworks centered around high-volume data processing.

• Assemble large, structured and unstructured complex data sets that meet functional and analytics business requirements.

• Work with technical project manager to define project timelines and deliverables for each release cycle.

• Drive solutions end-to-end, while coordinating with internal and external partners to maintain consistency and integration across architecture.

• Partial virtual/work from home benefit available.

• The base annual salary for this specific position is $204,147.06.

Qualifications:

• Requires a master’s degree in computer science or a related field and 3 years of IT experience.

• Must have experience with data engineering; data architecture; healthcare data analytics; Spark; Python; SQL; Scala; S3; IAM; Databricks; Airflow; Teradata; Gitlab & Jenkins CI\CD Pipeline; GitLab; GitHub; Databricks Unity Catalog; Tableau; and Looker.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 136,100 - 226,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
