Job Description

General Responsibilities:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Web Application Developer to join our Enterprise Application Development team. In this role, you will work alongside architects and senior developers to build, enhance, and support consumer-facing websites like our Borrower Portal, as well as internal web applications. This is a full-stack development role with a focus on .NET, C#, and Azure web services.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Develop responsive and secure web applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Support development of the Borrower Portal and internal business applications under the direction of senior team members.
  • Implement UI components, API integrations, and backend logic.
  • Collaborate with designers and product owners to translate user requirements into functional web solutions.
  • Write clean, testable code and participate in peer reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development and production environments.
  • Participate in application deployments and assist with DevOps tasks as needed.
  • Maintain documentation for technical specifications and user support.
  • Follow best practices for security, coding standards, and version control.

Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in web development using .NET and C#.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end libraries (e.g., React, Angular, or similar).
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and consuming external web services.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and writing T-SQL queries.
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Basic knowledge of Azure services such as App Services and Key Vault.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as Umbraco.
  • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control systems.
  • Exposure to secure coding principles and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Experience in financial services or consumer-facing web applications.

Soft Skills
