Navan is looking for an Application Administrator, Finance Systems to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting and administering our financial and tax systems, working closely with our Finance, Accounting, and IT teams. You'll help ensure our systems run smoothly, contributing to our operational efficiency and scalability. What You'll Do
- Administer Financial Systems: You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of NetSuite, Zip, FloQast, and OneSource tax system (or similar), including user setup, system configurations, and troubleshooting.
- System Optimization: Assist in maintaining and optimizing these financial and tax systems to support key finance functions.
- Data Integrity: Help ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data across our systems.
- Reporting Support: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and saved searches to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
- Issue Resolution: Serve as a primary contact for finance and accounting users, resolving system issues and escalating more complex problems to senior team members or vendors when necessary.
- Documentation & Training: Contribute to developing system documentation and provide training to users to help them effectively utilize our financial tools.
- System Improvements: Identify opportunities for automation and system enhancements to improve efficiency, including those related to OCR processes.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure system configurations and workflows align with our financial policies and business needs, including SOX compliance requirements.
- Support Integrations: Assist in maintaining integrations between financial systems and other platforms like Salesforce.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience supporting and administering finance systems, ideally within a global organization.
- Tax Systems: Experience with OneSource Tax or similar tax compliance systems (e.g., Avalara).
- Compliance: Understanding of SOX compliance and experience in supporting systems within a SOX-compliant environment.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with and experience administering financial systems like NetSuite, Zip, and FloQast, or similar procure-to-pay (P2P) or financial reporting tools.
- Problem-Solving: A knack for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to interact with users and team members effectively.
- Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with various departments.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Bonus Points: NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, Administrator) are a plus.
The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
