Analytics Engineer
Liveops is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer (AE) to be a key contributor in helping transform our Analytics capabilities across the business. The Analytics Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the analytics layer of our data environment to make data standardized and easily accessible across the organization. AE’s will use a combination of business strategy and technical data knowledge to translate complex information into clear and helpful visual representations known as data models. This person will have a solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts. The AE will report to the Manager of Business Intelligence which sits under the Finance team
The Purpose of Your Role
The Analytics Engineer at Liveops plays a pivotal role in enhancing the company's analytics capabilities by creating insightful data-driven solutions. These solutions span to Data Consumers, BI Developers, Data Scientists and Enterprise Architects. Developing data models and optimizing data processes. This position involves close collaboration with stakeholders to meet their data needs, ensuring effective decision-making and strategic business support through the use of Data Vault Methodology.
The Qualifications We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative or technical field or equivalent experience.
- 4 to 6 year’s experience in a data centric role using SQL.
- Experience with data design and development data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. (e.g., Snowflake and DBT.)
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and work independently.
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data-related offerings.
- Experience working in a version control system like Git.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bonus if you have experience building Apps in StreamLit

- Play a critical role in the design, development, support, and continuous improvement of the Data Warehouse environment supporting internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze complex data from multiple sources, determining configuration and connection methods for ingestion.
- Design Data Models and reports using DBT for external consumption
- Develop solutions for the entire organization according to best practices, and industry standards.
- Participate in an Agile Project Management style which runs on a 4-week cadence.
- Refine Data Models to improve performance and overall cost
- Work collaboratively with and understand the analytical reporting needs of business stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate technical subject matter to non-technical business stakeholders
- Work with disparate data sources and systems to facilitate a high-performance Data Warehouse environment
