About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic Data Reconciliation Team. In this role, you’ll play an important part in building and maintaining the core services and data models that support our operational and strategic analytics needs. You’ll work with Python-based applications, cloud-based deployment platforms (including Forge), and modern data infrastructure to deliver clean, reliable data for reconciliation. You’ll report to the Manager of Data Analytics. The role will be hybrid and based out of our Seattle office.

You Will:

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, define measurable analytics outcomes, and document product requirements.
  • Design and develop efficient, scalable code and technical documentation.
  • Build and maintain analytical models that create insights and support critical business decisions.
  • Contribute to solution design across data pipelines, data warehouses, and architecture.
  • Identify and implement improvements to data reliability, quality, and efficiency.
  • Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical partners, both in writing and conversation.
  • Follow best practices in software engineering including version control, code reviews, and coding standards.
  • Apply CI/CD principles to improve and automate deployments.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong coding skills in Python (or similar language) and expertise in SQL and Git.
  • Experience with logging, error handling, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud MPP databases like Snowflake or Redshift.
  • Proficiency in dimensional data modeling and end-to-end ETL development.
  • Experience building and deploying analytical models.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native architecture.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $168,000 -$210,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
