Analytics Engineer Data Team - Marketplace

The Role

We are seeking a Junior Analytics Engineer to support the central Data team in building clean, reliable, and scalable data models. In this role, you will prepare and process data from different sources, ensure its accuracy, and make it easily accessible for analysis. You will collaborate with stakeholders across finance, e-commerce, and product while learning from experienced data professionals in a supportive and structured environment.  

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean, and model data from different marketplaces  
• Integrate datasets into the company’s data warehouse  
• Write SQL queries and maintain transformations for analytics use cases  
• Perform data quality checks, tests, and bug fixing to ensure accurate reporting  
• Collaborate with team members for code reviews, validation, and stakeholder alignment  
• Document processes, KPIs, and data models for clarity and reusability  

What We Are Looking For

• At least 6 months of relevant experience in a data-related role within a data team 
• Strong knowledge of SQL with hands-on experience writing queries
• based 2 hours within the Central European Timezone (UTC-1 to UTC+3)
• Basic understanding of data modelling concepts and structured workflows  
• Clear communicator with a detail-oriented and organised approach  
• Interest in modern analytics engineering practices and business context 

Tools You Will Use

Must-have: SQL
Nice-to-have: BigQuery, dbt or Dataform, Git, data visualisation tools (such as Looker, PowerBI, Metabase, Lightdash, Tableau)
