In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, triaging, and responding to security alerts, supporting incident response efforts, and working closely with internal teams to protect Mondelez's global environment. This is a hands-on role focused on front-line defense, with opportunities to grow your technical skill set in a global enterprise SOC.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts from various detection tools (EDR, SIEM, etc.).

  • Assist in executing containment and recovery steps under guidance from senior team members.
  • Communicate investigation details clearly to peers and other internal stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of SOC processes and playbooks.
  • Participate in shift handovers and incident review meetings.
  • Collaborate with other SOC analysts to identify and respond to potential threats in real-time.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and documentation.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including common attack vectors and malware behavior.
  • Experience working with SIEM platforms, EDR tools, and other security technologies.
  • Ability to analyze logs and alerts to identify suspicious behavior.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and following documented processes.
  • Familiarity with ticketing and case management tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, GSEC, CySA+) are a plus.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $95,100 to $130,800; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
