As a company, we’re as committed to growing careers as we are to building world-class technology. We invest heavily in people, our culture, and the community around us. We have also continuously been recognized as One of The Best Places To Work in the San Francisco Bay Area by Fortune, and One of The 60 Best Companies To Sell For by Selling Power. Our offices are located in San Francisco, New York, Austin, Seattle, India, and the United Kingdom.

About the Role

Demandbase is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Analyst Relations Manager to own and elevate our standing with the industry’s most influential voices. This isn't just a coordination role; you will be the architect of our market perception with analysts. You will lead our engagement with firms like Gartner, Forrester, and IDC, ensuring Demandbase isn't just "in" the reports, but is defined as the leader in ABM, Sales Intelligence, and B2B Data.

Reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing, you will be a strategic partner to Executive Leadership, Product Management, and Sales, translating our technical innovations into "market-shifting" narratives that analysts can't ignore.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Program & Narrative Ownership: Develop and execute a year-round AR strategy that proactively shapes the market’s understanding of Demandbase’s "Smarter GTM" vision.

  • Dominance in Major Evaluations: Lead the end-to-end strategy for major industry reports (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Waves). You will own the RFI process, orchestrate high-impact executive briefings, and curate a world-class customer reference program.

  • Revenue-Centric Deal Support: Partner with Sales on high-stakes, competitive deals to leverage analysts as strategic resources. You will identify opportunities to use third-party validation to shift buyer perception and reinforce Demandbase as the preferred choice.

  • Competitive & Market Intelligence: Act as a critical feedback loop for the organization. Gather and synthesize analyst insights on market trends and competitor movements to help shape our product roadmap and GTM strategy.

Benefits

Our benefits include options for up to 100% paid Medical and Vision premiums for employees, a flexible PTO policy, paid holidays, and access to mental health and wellness resources. We also provide a 401(k) with pre-tax, after tax, and roth options, as well as short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, and other great benefits.

  • High-Cadence Engagement: Proactively manage a regular rhythm of briefings, inquiries, and strategy days, ensuring our key spokespeople are top-of-mind for analysts when they speak to our prospective customers.

  • Analyst-Ready Narrative Development: Partner with Product Marketing to translate complex technical features into differentiated, value-based messaging tailored specifically for the analyst community.

  • Sales Enablement: Transform analyst accolades, rankings, and reports into "weapons" for the field, creating content that helps the revenue team build immediate credibility and win.

  • Impact Measurement: Move beyond "number of briefings." Track and report on analyst sentiment shifts, coverage share-of-voice, and the direct impact of AR on the sales pipeline.

Qualifications
  • 3–6+ years of Experience: in Analyst Relations or high-level Product Marketing within the B2B SaaS space (Martech/Salestech experience is highly preferred).

  • Major Evaluation Success: A proven "win list" of managing successful, high-ranking submissions for Gartner Magic Quadrants or Forrester Waves.

  • The "Coach" Mentality: Experience preparing and coaching C-level executives for briefings, ensuring they stay on-message and high-impact.

  • Exceptional storytelling skills: You must be able to take a technical roadmap and turn it into a compelling vision of the future.

  • Strategic project management: Ability to lead cross-functional "strike teams" for major evaluations under tight timelines.

  • Data-driven approach: Ability to connect AR activities to bottom-line business outcomes.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
