Justworks helps people by providing access to a wide range of world class benefits; from Medical, Dental and Vision insurance to 401(k) and a variety of boutique offerings. In this position, you’ll own the day-to-day success of a number of different Benefit programs at Justworks, work with our Product and Engineering teams to improve existing systems, and help implement new Benefit offerings. 

Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On
  • Day to day ops/admin/analyst work
    • Perform day-to-day operations for our Open Market health insurance offerings, including:
    • Work with insurance carriers to resolve escalated issues including enrollment errors, plan coding issues, and other discrepancies, 
    • Identify and flag bugs and errors impacting the processing of file feeds to our carriers
    • Review and process network data files from carriers, uploading as needed
    • Coordinate system implementation of new benefits and report changes in systems/procedures across teams
    • Maintain vendor and internal partner SLAs
  • Problem Solving
    • Work with internal stakeholders including Product, Engineering, Legal, and Finance and external stakeholders including Benefit Partners when necessary to resolve escalated issues
    • Own any system bug investigation and remediation
    • Gather and analyze customer benefits data and other sensitive information, utilizing SQL, Excel, and proprietary systems
    • Identify and resolve errors in benefits operations using creative technical solutions
  • Project Work
    • Collect plan and pricing data from carriers, and work within the carrier's systems to enroll groups and individuals 
    • Maintain and execute regular filing and/or any additional regulatory duties
    • Track, analyze and report on regular KPIs
    • Create various operational tools and dashboards as needed
    • Partner with other team members on various project work as needed
  • Other internal team interactions
    • Partner with the ProdEng team to help determine investments that would increase our overall efficiency
    • Performs other related duties as needed

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Required: 
    • SQL knowledge
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Extremely detail-oriented with great time management skills
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
    • Experience working cross-functionally
    • Strong analytical and data management skills
    • Strong execution skills
  • Preferred:
    • Tableau, Jira, Excel, and Confluence experience
  • Role specific:
    • Knowledge of Employer Sponsored Benefit Plans required
    • Knowledge of Health Insurance benefits

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $75,500.00 to $83,050.00 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.  Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
