Job Description:
Responsible for the creation, analysis, management and distribution of geospatial information, the GIS Analyst will work with brokers and members of the Research and Marketing teams to produce mapping collateral and conduct geospatial analysis. These deliverables include location analysis, demographic analysis, multivariable heat maps, commutation analysis, 3D maps, and aerial imagery. The team, including this position, supports sales professionals and their clients across the country in all property types. There is flexibility with the geographic location of this position.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Duties:
- Conduct location and other geospatial analysis, including demographics, competitor locations, commutation and drive time studies, and real estate market metrics at a local, regional, and national scale
- Produce vector, 3D, and aerial imagery, as well as interactive web maps and dashboards
- Collaborate with sales professionals, researchers, and marketing teams to interpret and convey narratives geospatially
- Provide aerial mapping support for brochures, marketing materials and packages.
- Obtain and maintain accurate market data; to include assess and validate current GIS data for integrity in terms of volume, consistency and redundancy
- Use the department’s branding and design standards to produce deliverables with high quality design.
Skills, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in major GIS applications, advanced degree a plus
- Minimum of 1 year experience using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Exceptional mapping software skills, GIS certification a plus
- Familiarity with basic concepts of demographics and cartography
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and integrate project segments
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Knowledge of Python, Javascript, and other relevant coding programs a plus
- May perform other duties as assigned
Salary Range Language:
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $74,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
