A day in the life

In this role, you’ll join the exciting and fast-growing Global Energy Team, supporting our customers in the clean energy transition. You will help to establish a structured customer service system that efficiently handles customer inquiries, improves response times, and optimizes the customer journey across all stages of a project’s life cycle. This team’s responsibilities include customer strategy, internal and external stakeholder engagement, and energy billing operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create an intake process for inquiries that come from various internal departments across Prologis. Create a process that proactively addresses subsequent inquiries on similar topics.
  • Facilitate customer onboarding calls and refine a consistent process. Develop and document frequently asked questions and generate case studies for complex inquiries to improve future responses.
  • Partner with IT to support the implementation of automated solutions, such as AI chatbots, to assist customers in resolving common inquiries independently.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response times, inquiry volume by tier, and resolution rates to measure efficiency and continuously improve the system.
  • Leverage billing software solutions to create customer reports that simulate customer savings, consumption, tariff choices, and bill impacts.
  • Develop communication materials and templates to improve customer service and internal stakeholder engagement.
  • Support tracking and reporting of customer Renewable Energy Credit (REC) obligations and compliance with local emissions reduction regulations and programs.

Building blocks for success

Required:

  • 1+ year of experience in business, engineering, or the renewable energy industry
  • Demonstrated success in customer service functions
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable insights
  • Demonstrated skill in navigating ambiguity and managing complexity
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data in a structured and compelling manner
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred:

  • Experience with solar project development and utility metering
  • Understanding of Renewable Energy Credit (REC)

Hiring Salary Range of: $78,000 - $111,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target & LTI) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
