The Client Reporting Analyst is a member of the Client Reporting and Performance Team responsible for developing and delivering standard and customized reporting primarily for DoubleLine’s separate account and sub-advised clients. The role requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to understanding issues, determining appropriate next steps, and driving them to resolution.

The analyst also serves as a key backup to the Performance Specialist, supporting performance reporting and validation. The role partners across the firm to support client needs and improve and automate reporting and performance processes. The role may also involve supporting additional Client Reporting and Performance Team functions including maintaining compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) and account setup and maintenance.

Job Functions

  • Produce and validate standard and custom reporting for DoubleLine clients and investors, with a particular focus on complex and performance-related client reporting.

  • Develop and implement new reports based on client requirements.

  • Serve as a key backup to the Performance Specialist, supporting performance reporting, daily performance validation, and other performance-related functions.

  • Leverage data, technology, automation, and AI to investigate problems, identify solutions, and improve reporting and performance processes.

  • Lead ongoing coordination with DoubleLine’s Information Technology Group to advance reporting and performance-related automation initiatives.

  • Own and resolve ad hoc requests from clients and other internal departments.

  • Maintain well-documented processes, procedures, meeting minutes, and notes.

  • Support additional functions, including DoubleLine’s compliance with GIPS standards and operational account setup and maintenance.

  • Assist with other team-, department-, and firm-level projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Excel Required

  • Experience with client reporting, performance measurement, portfolio administration, and/or fund accounting processes in the investment management field strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Strong technical aptitude; experience with data, reporting, and automation tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or similar preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of fixed income instruments preferred.

Base Salary Range

The estimated base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $105,000. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
