Job Description

The Analyst, Business Analytics will work cross-functionally within the teams to develop purpose-
driven analytics on financial, quality, and clinical initiatives. This partner is responsible for helping
to design and develop reports, presentations, and models to guide the strategic decision-making
of our stakeholders. This role supports broad organizational goals across national and targeted
markets, serving as a high-impact member of a rapidly growing analytics team to deliver data-
driven insights across the enterprise.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Extract, cleanse, and integrate large datasets from medical claims, electronic medicalrecord, and payer service fund data sources.
  • Develop and maintain reports to track financial, clinical, and operational performance metricss
  • Support national and targeted market initiatives by researching data to identify issues and recommending strategic solutions for improvement.
  • Conduct ad-hoc and forecast analyses across various business domains to identify trends and actionable opportunities
  • Communicate complex findings and technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through summarized presentations.
  • Ensure data integrity through proactive testing, results verification, and support of internal or external audits.
  • Maintain active communication with management and internal departments to ensure data accuracy and address stakeholder concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics,
  • Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience preferred. 
  • 1+ years of experience in an analytical, consulting, or finance function.
  • Experience with one or more programming or BI tools, such as SQL, R, Python, or Tableau.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including the use of pivot tables, vLookups, formulas, and
  • trending.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a track record of presenting quantitative information.
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a healthcare delivery, consulting, or health plan environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding (CPT4, ICD10, HCPCS), and payer
  • contracting concepts.
  • Ability to apply mathematical and statistical concepts to complex business problems.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and an outcomes-oriented mindset

The salary range for this role is $63,000.00 - $70,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 10% .The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
