About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, GTM-driven, and results-oriented Regional Marketing Manager to develop, lead, and execute strategic integrated marketing plans, programs and campaigns targeted at key Vertical market segments in the Americas in Healthcare (Healthcare providers and Payer organizations) and Public Sector (Federal, and State, Local, and Education – SLED agencies).
This role requires hands-on regional field marketing experience coupled with deep go-to-market understanding of the Americas healthcare and public sector market landscapes and dynamics, strong stakeholder engagement skills with Sales and Partners, and the ability to develop regional marketing and demand generation programs and influence integrated marketing campaigns that drive pipeline generation, awareness, engagement, and account acquisition growth with New Logo and existing Customer accounts.
As an Americas Regional Marketing Manager - Verticals you will be a critical link between our global marketing initiatives and the on-the-ground sales and partner efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic vertical integrated marketing plans aligned with regional sales priorities for healthcare, payers, federal, and SLED markets in order to build and generate pipeline through a holistic marketing go-to-market approach for each vertical and industry market segment.
- Establish strong, collaborative relationships with regional vertical sales and partner teams, acting as a trusted marketing advisor.
- Regularly track and communicate marketing plans, activities, and results to sales and marketing leadership and individual reps.
- Gather feedback from the sales team and customers to continuously optimize marketing programs, mix, tactics, and content and messaging.
- Participate in sales calls and client meetings as needed to understand customer needs and support sales efforts.
- Plan and manage regional activities including 1st-party and 3rd-party events, industry conferences, tradeshows, webinars, virtual events, executive roundtables, and local workshops.
- Drive, customize, and execute account-based marketing experiences and programs targeted at key and prioritized accounts in each vertical market segment.
- Collaborate with product marketing, campaigns, demand generation and sales leadership to define target accounts, partners, buyer personas, content, and messaging.
- Play a key role in recommending critical content for integrated efforts across all stage of the funnel (top-of-the-funnel, middle-of-the-funnel, and bottom-of-the-funnel content)
- Manage your marketing budgets, results, and track ROI for all vertical marketing activities.
- Measure and report on program and campaign performance alongside pipeline generation and acceleration impact, and regional field marketing KPIs.
Success Factors:
The key success measures and metrics for your success in this role include:
- Pipeline Impact: Measuring the contribution of marketing activities to pipeline generation and acceleration, including the number of qualified leads generated and the conversion rate of these leads into opportunities.
- Regional field Marketing KPIs: Key performance indicators specific to regional field marketing activities, such as the number of events held, attendance rates and mix, (customers vs prospects), and the quality of interactions at these events.
- ROI for Marketing Activities: Tracking the return on investment for marketing activities to ensure that resources are being used efficiently and effectively.
These metrics help in evaluating the overall impact of marketing efforts on business growth and ensuring alignment with sales priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. MBA a plus.
- 8+ years of integrated B2B marketing experience, preferably in vertical regional field marketing roles.
- Must have experience in marketing to healthcare providers (hospitals, health systems, payers) and public sector (federal, state, and local government, education institutions).
- Proven success with field events and regional demand generation marketing efforts.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills, with the ability to develop strategic marketing plans and tailor messaging to diverse types of audiences.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines and goals.
- Strong analytical mindset and results-driven with the ability to interpret data and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, 6Sense, and Tableau.
- Ability to travel regionally (25%-40%) as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of procurement and buying cycles in healthcare and government sectors.
- Familiarity with public health initiatives, hospital networks, and government agencies.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):
$99,400 - $142,000 - $184,600Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
