We are in search of an Amazon Project Manager. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for working directly with clients, designers, and developers to oversee the successful management of our partner's eCommerce websites, including implementing strategic initiatives and day-to-day site maintenance.

We are looking for dependable solution-oriented individuals who have sharp attention to detail, a strong work ethic; who will take charge of multiple projects from start to finish, and the ability to be flexible and thrive in a rapidly growing entrepreneurial environment. The ability to communicate and effectively work cross-functionally with the team and leadership is also critical to being successful!

In particular, we are looking for an individual with at least 5 years of e-commerce project management experience, with a proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.

We are an eCommerce design, development, and optimization agency for D2C brands on the Shopify/Shopify Plus platform.

Additionally, we believe in transparency in compensation. Total compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $80,000 - $110,000.

As an Amazon Project Manager, this role could include:

  • Lead and manage the project management team, providing training, guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Define and refine project management processes and best practices, focusing on adherence to industry standards and continuous improvement, specifically within the Amazon Seller Central e-commerce environment.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business goals, establish project objectives, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee all aspects of project planning, including resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling, ensuring efficient utilization of resources tailored to the Amazon Seller Central platform.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues unique to Amazon projects, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, quality assurance, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance understanding of trends, technologies, and best practices within the Amazon e-commerce sphere, providing strategic guidance and insights.
  • Conduct project reviews and post-mortems to identify lessons learned, implement process improvements, and optimize project delivery.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes by overseeing project management processes focused on the Amazon platform and striving for continuous improvement.
  • Lead and manage key Amazon-related accounts, ensuring all project deliverables meet the clients' expectations within set timelines and budgets.

Required Competencies

  • 5+ years of proven success in project management, specifically in web development projects with a focus on e-commerce solutions.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, specifically Amazon Seller Central, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team, foster collaboration, solution-focused, and resolve conflicts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within budget and time constraints.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and quality.
