The Boeing Company is looking for Airline Support Engineer (Mid- Level or Experienced) to support BCA Flight Operations team. This position is located in Seal Beach, California.

Flight Operations Engineering is expanding. We are excited to offer multiple positions in Seal Beach, CA. Some travel is required (approximately 10%)
Position Responsibilities:
  • Researches and respond to technical questions from customers to resolve a wide variety of customer flight operations issues, service problems, and continued airworthiness concerns
  • Investigates flight operations inquiries and develop suitable solutions for customers
  • Provides proactive support to customers on current flight operations issues through conferences, symposiums, and other methods
  • Provides on-site customer assistance to assigned accounts through consultation to support the introduction of new airplane models, improve airplane utilization, and to promote the safe and efficient operation of the entire fleet
  • Responds to customer inquiries on all Boeing commercial airplane models
  • Champions improvements to technologies, tools and processes to enhance technological readiness, to improve aircraft performance, and to reduce cycle time and cost
  • Assess proposed regulations and engineering changes to determine impact on cost, performance, producibility, maintainability, and safety
  • Trains others in work processes and work products and configure

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in flight operations engineering

Typical Education/ Experience:
Mid- Level (Level-3)
Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Experienced (Level-4)
Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range Mid-Level (Level 3): $126,900 - $155,100
Summary pay range Experienced (Level 4): $154,800 - $189,200
