The role:

We are seeking an AI Finance Transformation Manager to lead the design and execution of AI-enabled initiatives that modernize finance operations, improve efficiency, and support scalable growth. This role works across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Technology to identify high-impact use cases, deliver measurable results, and ensure AI solutions are implemented in a responsible, secure, and compliant manner. As an experienced professional, you will take ownership of projects from concept to operationalization, applying both financial process expertise and knowledge of AI tools to deliver transformative outcomes.

The AI Finance Transformation Manager is responsible for identifying opportunities to apply AI and machine learning to finance processes, translating business needs into actionable solutions, and managing initiatives from pilot through full-scale adoption. Working with minimal oversight, this role partners with finance and technical teams to evaluate processes, develop business cases, and implement solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and control. The manager ensures projects align with governance, security, and ethical AI standards, while also leading change management to encourage adoption and integration into daily operations. By staying informed on AI/ML trends, vendor capabilities, and industry best practices, this role helps shape the roadmap for AI in Finance, ensuring solutions are innovative, practical, and deliver measurable impact.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams to identify AI/ML use cases that improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making.
  • Translate business requirements into AI-enabled project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI finance transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with governance, compliance, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to design and implement scalable solutions.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies, including communications, training, and adoption tracking.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure business impact, ROI, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Maintain awareness of AI technologies, vendor offerings, and emerging best practices relevant to finance.
  • Support the development of ethical AI policies and practices for finance operations.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience leading transformation or technology-enabled initiatives within Finance, ideally involving AI/ML solutions.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, data governance, and integration with ERP systems (Workday preferred).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled in project management, change management, and business process improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to guide decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
