Your Role:

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced AI Product Manager to lead the development and implementation of AI-powered solutions across the enterprise. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring AI initiatives are aligned with our strategic goals and delivered at quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a robust product roadmap and drive AI projects from ideation to delivery, focusing on real-world enterprise impact and measurable business outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of AI at CSAA Insurance group, influence key business decisions, and deliver cutting edge solutions that drive efficiency, empower employees and delight AAA members and agents.

Your Work:

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Help drive the long-term vision of AI at CSAA by developing and communicating a clear product vision and roadmap that aligns with enterprise goals and priorities. Partner with business units to identify strategically aligned, high-value use cases to inform our AI roadmap.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across the enterprise to define AI product features, ensure technical feasibility, and deliver scalable solutions. Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI initiatives – from identifying opportunities and defining requirements to overseeing development, deployment, and post-launch optimization.

  • Business Optimization: Develop insurance domain acumen and partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI to accelerate strategic business outcomes, including streamlining of operational workflows, enhanced decision-making, improved customer experiences. 

  • Business-Technical Translation: Leverage technical expertise to bridge technical teams and stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable business requirements.

  • Product Performance: Develop aligned KPIs with business stakeholders to measure the effectiveness of AI workflows. Monitor user experiences, incorporate feedback, and ensure AI solutions deliver actionable and interpretable outcomes.

  • Vendor Evaluation & Partnership: Build a deep understanding of AI ecosystems and collaborate with external technology providers to align deliverables with organizational goals.

  • Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor and analyze the competitive landscape to identify emerging AI trends, technologies, and market shifts to ensure alignment with strategy and top opportunities for growth.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Partner with business units and Legal to ensure all solutions adhere to industry regulations.

Required Experience, Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field required.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, innovation, consulting, or venture capital, with exposure to AI or workflow automation.

  • 3+ years of experience in insurance operations or a similar field.

  • 3+ years of experience translating business strategy and working with technical teams to deliver aligned technology-enabled products.

  • Strong understanding of AI, including its capabilities and limitations, and the ability to apply this knowledge to address operational challenges effectively.

  • Proven success launching and scaling new products or processes in large organizations.

  • Experience defining product metrics and using them to guide decision-making.

  • Expertise in defining, monitoring, and interpreting KPIs to inform product success.

  • Ability to clearly convey complex concepts to diverse audiences to gain alignment, influence and build a culture that understands the potential of AI at all levels of the organization.

The national average salary range for this position is $152,010.00 – $168,900.00 annual. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $136,710.00 – $202,500.00 annual. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.
