About the Role:
The IT department at CrowdStrike is at the forefront of enabling our company's rapid growth and technological innovation. We are seeking a Manager for AI Platforms, Infrastructure and Tooling to join our Enterprise AI team. This role is for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and has a dual passion for building scalable, robust infrastructure while also creating the tools that empower developers and citizen agent builders across the company.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, AI Platforms, you will be a key player in defining how new AI technology is implemented and scaled. You will focus on building the foundational platforms and tools that our internal teams need to create powerful AI agents, working closely with infrastructure, security, and the AI Agent team to bring these solutions to life.
What You'll Do:
Lead Platform Strategy and Tool Development: You will identify core gaps in our citizen agent platforms and lead the development of scalable tools, wrappers, and agents that can be leveraged across the company. This includes defining the required infrastructure to support both rapid prototyping and scalable, reliable solutions
Drive Technical Evaluation and Integration: Collaborate with the AI Agent team to evaluate vendor point solutions, assessing their underlying technical capabilities and how they can connect to our wider ecosystem. You will serve as a technical advisor on new platforms, working directly with vendors and internal teams to review implementation plans
Balance Build vs. Buy: Make critical decisions by balancing the development of custom agent tools against the roadmaps of major vendor platforms, ensuring our strategy is both agile and forward-looking
Build for Scale: Design and implement robust infrastructure, with a strong focus on CI/CD practices, performance, capacity, and comprehensive logging. Your work will center on our core platforms, including Google Cloud (GCP/Vertex), to ensure our AI solutions are built for scale
Manage Strategic Partnerships: You will be responsible for finding and managing agency and platform partners to help resource the development, launch, and ongoing maintenance of our AI platforms and tools
Security and Governance: Partner with security and infrastructure teams to help manage AI lifecycle governance, secure model endpoints, and control data access
What You'll Need:
Extensive Cloud Experience: Deep, hands-on experience with Google Cloud (GCP/Vertex) is required. Experience with other core platforms like AWS, Snowflake, and Salesforce AI is also relevant
AI and Agent Tooling Expertise: You must have experience with agent tooling, logging, and relevant AI infrastructure. Experience with agent orchestration (A2A) is highly desired, as well as familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Strong Technical Background: Proficiency in languages like Python or JavaScript, with a strong grasp of API development and event-driven architecture
Infrastructure and CI/CD: A strong background in CI/CD practices and a demonstrated passion for building out scalable infrastructure and logging systems are essential
Adaptability: You must have the flexibility and demonstrated ability to pivot and thrive in the rapidly emerging and evolving AI space
