We’re looking for an AI Operations Lead who blends technical execution with strategic thinking — someone eager to shape how modern marketing and go-to-market teams operate through data, automation, and AI.

You’ll be hands-on with our GTM systems and data stack, building scalable AI processes and workflows that empower Marketing and GTM to move faster and smarter. You’ll not only build — you’ll shape the future of how we use automation and AI to drive marketing excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Technical

  • Build LLM/agent services (UTM/tag QA, content checks, brief synthesis, pacing commentary, anomaly callouts)

  • Implement RAG pipelines grounded in taxonomy, KPI dictionary, campaign history

  • Integrate with Marketo/SFDC/6sense/GA4+GTM (incl. server-side)/CDP/Warehouse; expose via APIs/bots/light UIs

  • Build MVPs (Python/SQL/APIs/RAG) and hand off scaling to DS/Web/Platform Ops as needed

  • Experiment with AI assistants or no-code tools that augment GTM efficiency

  • Stand up evals (quality/safety/cost/latency) and monitoring; maintain prompt/version registry

  • Partner on privacy/RBAC/SoD; document runbooks; enable users

Collaboration, Enablement & Other Key Responsibilities

  • Alongside your leaders, Prioritize and maintain a quarterly AI backlog; define success criteria & experiment plans

  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, and other teams to align data structures, tooling, and workflows

  • Partner with IT and Data Science to ensure data pipelines are reliable, governed, and production-ready

  • Serve as the internal evangelist for AI in marketing — leading workshops, hackathons, sharing best practices, and helping marketers adopt new tools responsibly

  • Partner with stakeholders to prioritize automation & AI initiatives based on measurable business impact

  • Document systems, build playbooks, and ensure all new processes are scalable and maintainable

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and elevate team performance; Map pain points; write problem statements, success metrics, and business cases

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing ops, growth engineering, GTM systems preferred

  • Hands-on expertise with key Marketing & Sales systems including Salesforce CRM, Marketo, Snowflake, Tableau, 6sense, ZoomInfo, RingLead, Alteryx (or similar)

  • Comfortable working with APIs, low-code/no-code automation tools (Zapier, n8n, Workato, Alteryx), and data integrations

  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, APIs, CI/CD; cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure); Airflow/Prefect/dbt.
    GA4/GTM, Marketo, SFDC, 6sense/CDP; embeddings/vector DB; evals

  • Strong analytical background — familiarity with SQL, data modeling, dashboard creation

  • Exposure to AI/ML tools or automation frameworks; Enthusiasm for experimenting with AI technologies, generative/predictive AI and applying them in real-world workflows   

  • Deep understanding of marketing campaign production and how to streamline workflows preferred

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical

  • Proven track record of delivering measurable productivity gains through automation, AI or workflow innovation

  • Self-starter with a growth mindset and bias toward action

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.

The salary range for this role in the United States is $160,000 – $170,000.

Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, such as an annual bonus, medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
