About Origin by Prelude

Origin is building the endpoint AI observability platform for AI-adopting organizations. We believe that organizations should not adopt AI on their endpoints without observability in place, and we want to be the platform that maximizes the productivity & safety of that adoption.

The company exists to maximize the diffusion of intelligence inside an organization, maximize the productivity of agentic systems and the humans driving them, keep agent actions traceable end-to-end so that when a user asks for something in a prompt they can verify the agent actually did what was expected, and give organizations one interface to answer the hardest questions they have about how work gets done.

Our platform monitors and protects some of the most important organizations in the world. We are backed by Sequoia Capital, Brightmind Ventures, IA Ventures and other top firms.

Role

Origin is seeking an AI-Native Marketer who utilizes automation, AI systems, and modern tooling to operate with exceptional speed and leverage. You will own campaigns end-to-end, from positioning and messaging to content, acquisition, and attribution.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who can both think strategically and execute quickly. You’ll work across brand, growth, product marketing, and demand generation, using AI to scale output without sacrificing quality or technical credibility.

You’ll help define how Origin shows up to the market while building the systems, workflows, and experimentation culture that power our growth. You’ll have meaningful influence over the company’s positioning, voice, and go-to-market motion as we scale.

Responsibilities

  • Build AI-powered marketing workflows for content creation, segmentation, personalization, lifecycle marketing, and reporting.

  • Execute campaigns across paid, organic, email, events, and partnerships.

  • Develop prompt libraries, editorial standards, and evaluation frameworks that maintain a high quality bar.

  • Run rapid messaging and content experiments across channels.

  • Create technically credible content for security and infrastructure audiences.

  • Partner with RevOps and Sales to improve attribution, reporting, and pipeline visibility.

  • Maintain and optimize the marketing stack while continuously evaluating new tooling.

  • Help internal teams understand how AI can improve operational leverage.

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years in B2B SaaS marketing across growth, content, product marketing, or operations.

  • Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, AI workflows, and automation tooling.

  • Comfortable building landing pages, lightweight apps, and automations independently.

  • Excellent writing instincts and editorial judgment.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using attribution and reporting tools.

  • Systems-oriented mindset with a bias toward experimentation.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping define the function as you go.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience marketing cybersecurity or infrastructure products.

  • Early-stage startup experience.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and technical security topics.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
