AI MOTION GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Influur is reimagining how advertising works through creators, data, and AI. Our mission is to make influencer marketing as measurable, predictable, and scalable as paid media — and we're building the tech that makes it possible. Backed by top-tier investors and trusted by global brands, we're scaling fast across music, culture, and entertainment.

We're looking for an AI Motion Graphic Designer who's excited to build and scale how our product moves visually. You'll sit at the intersection of motion design, brand, and marketing — bringing ideas to life through dynamic, high-impact animations that stop the scroll and clearly communicate value.

If you think in sequences, not just frames — understand the why behind your motion decisions, and know how to make a product feel alive — this role is for you.

    Your Skillset

  • Design high-impact motion content for product launches, campaigns, and day-to-day marketing needs.

  • Translate product features and strategies into clear, engaging visual stories — built to move.

  • Create animated assets for social media, landing pages, paid ads, and digital campaigns.

  • Lead motion across formats: reels, video ads, product demos, animated carousels, and micro-interactions.

  • Use AI-powered tools (Runway, Kling, Midjourney, Firefly) to accelerate production, explore at scale, and push creative output further.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and product teams to bring ideas to life across every touchpoint.

  • Help evolve and maintain a consistent motion language across the brand — not just how we look, but how we feel.

  • Manage multiple projects at once while staying fast, organized, and detail-oriented.

  •

    Your Responsibilities

  • Own the motion design of influur.com and product landing pages — animated hero modules, scroll-triggered storytelling, and conversion-driven sequences.

  • Animate paid social creative for Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  • Make product UI marketing move. Take raw product screenshots and turn them into polished, on-brand motion pieces — animated mockups, micro-interactions, phone and browser frame treatments.

  • Partner with the Content team on organic social (founder posts, build-in-public moments, product releases).

  • Build and maintain a reusable motion system — brand kit, ad templates, motion presets, and animated product screenshot library — so the team moves fast without losing consistency.

You're the Type Who

  • Has a strong portfolio with motion at the center — and knows the difference between animation that looks cool and animation that converts.

  • Understands timing, pacing, and visual hierarchy well enough to make decisions, not just execute them.

  • Lives in After Effects, Premiere, or CapCut — and uses Figma or similar tools to bridge the gap between static and motion.

  • Uses AI video and motion tools like Runway, Kling, or Pika as a real part of your workflow, not just something you've tried once.

  • Has worked in brand, product marketing, or content close enough that you get why the motion has to serve the message.

  • Figures things out fast and doesn't wait to be told exactly how — you're scrappy by default.

  • Communicates clearly with product and marketing without losing anything in translation.

  • Can run several projects at once and still ship work that looks considered.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
