We're growing fast and looking for people who want to help us grow faster.

The Role

We are hiring an AI Marketing Specialist to lead organic growth across content, SEO / AEO, social media, and video using AI as the primary execution layer. This is not a traditional content role. It is built for someone who thinks in AI-first workflows, understands how to align multiple AI platforms with a consistent brand voice, and knows how to quality-check output before it ships.

You will report directly to the VP of Marketing, who will set strategic direction and campaign priorities. Within that structure, you are expected to manage execution independently, bring proactive recommendations to the table, and own the quality of everything that is published under the Knack name.

What You'll Own
  • SEO, AEO & content production (blog, landing pages, FAQ)
  • Organic social management (LinkedIn & others)
  • AI video scripting, production, and publishing
  • Visual asset creation (graphics, promotional imagery)
  • WordPress publishing and landing page setup
  • Email campaign support in HubSpot
  • Performance reporting and optimization
What Success Looks Like (First 30 Days)
  • Own the social calendar and publish first content batch
  • Produce initial AI video assets
  • Demonstrate consistent brand voice in AI output review
  • Get up to speed on tool stack
What You Need to Bring
  • 2-5 years in content, digital, or related marketing (this role is not focused on paid)
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Canva, Frase, or similar)
  • Strong writing and editorial instincts
  • SEO & AEO fundamentals (keyword targeting, on-page optimization, search intent, LLM content surfacing)
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot or similar CRM (build emails, segment lists, pull reports)
  • Experience or clear interest in AI video tools
  • Self-directed with proactive mindset
Nice to Have
  • Direct experience with Synthesia, HeyGen, or Creatify
  • Familiarity with WordPress publishing
  • B2B SaaS or healthcare marketing background
  • Programmatic SEO or content scaling exposure

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
