We are hiring an Senior Machine Learning Engineer  to work on a pivotal Federal program that is making a positive impact on millions of Americans' daily lives. 

What you'll be doing:

As an Senior Machine Learning Engineer,  you will lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models and AI solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver impactful AI-driven products. You’ll apply ML expertise to solve meaningful challenges in federal programs, driving innovation in healthcare, veterans’ services, and more.

What you’ll bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in software and machine learning engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and transformer models.
  • Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.
  • Proven experience building scalable, cloud-based AI/ML solutions and enhancing custom question answering mapping/workflows.
  • Expertise in the full ML pipeline, including data processing, model training, serving, and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of NLP architectural strategies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Knowledge Graphs, and Agentic Graphs.
  • Expertise in MLOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines tailored for ML workflows, model version control, and real-time performance monitoring to ensure scalable and reliable AI/ML systems.
  • Familiarity with federal AI governance frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST AI RMF, FedRAMP) is a plus.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.

Compensation:

At Wilcore, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

United States Wage Range: $140,000 – $180,000

This role reports to the team at Wilcore Technologies, a joint venture created by Oddball.
