Role Overview
We’re seeking an AI & Machine Learning Engineer (Junior) to join our engineering team. In this hands-on role, you’ll work under and report directly to our Lead Engineers and CEO, contributing to the development, deployment, and refinement of AI-powered solutions that directly impact client growth.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, CRO strategy, and data teams to turn business challenges into scalable AI-driven features. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who’s eager to learn from experienced leaders while applying AI in real-world, revenue-driving scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building, testing, and deploying AI and ML features for ClickMint’s optimization platform.
- Work with lead engineers to integrate models (LLMs, recommendation systems, predictive analytics) into production workflows.
- Collaborate with the CEO to align AI initiatives with product vision and company goals.
- Write clean, maintainable code—primarily in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Integrate APIs from major e-commerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento) and analytics tools.
- Prepare and process structured and unstructured datasets for model training and evaluation.
- Monitor AI system performance, detect anomalies, and assist in troubleshooting.
- Stay current with emerging AI frameworks, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python and at least one additional language (JavaScript preferred).
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON data handling.
- Solid problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Internship or project experience in AI/ML development.
- Experience with e-commerce or marketing analytics data.
- Exposure to LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock).
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
