Job Description

Your Mission:

Key Responsibilities:

AI Implementation and Prototyping:

  • Lead the implementation of 3rd party AI solutions, coordinating with Privacy, Security, Compliance, and other departments to move initiatives forward.

  • Triage requests, gather requirements, and build robust solutions using platforms like Credal.ai, Gemini, and Google Agentspace.

  • Uncover automation opportunities within Servicing, build prototypes, and collaborate with product teams to ship scalable solutions.

  • Apply strong project management skills with an emphasis on cross-functional coordination.

Market Intelligence and Vendor Evaluation:

  • Conduct comprehensive vendor research to relieve teams from extensive market scanning.

  • Create and maintain vendor evaluation frameworks and a living vendor landscape document for teams to reference.

  • Pre-qualify vendors based on product requirements and create briefing materials to accelerate decision-making.

Privacy and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with compliance teams to navigate data privacy regulations across global markets (GDPR, EU AI Act, CCPA, etc.).

  • Pre-screen vendors for potential compliance issues before they are evaluated by Product teams.

  • Perform risk assessments for third-party solutions that will handle sensitive information.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, from contract negotiation and onboarding to relationship management, within a regulated environment.

  • Handle vendor-related administrative tasks to minimize the overhead on Product teams.

Qualifications

Skillset and Qualifications:

Servicing & Technology Knowledge:

  • Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of AI solutions and the broader AI/automation technology landscape for service operations.

  • Demonstrable experience in building AI agents or automations, including expert prompt engineering.

  • Ability to translate complex service use cases into technical vendor requirements.

  • Knowledge of global customer service operations and their requirements.

Process, Compliance & Project Management:

  • Demonstrated project management skills with a focus on cross-functional coordination.

  • Expertise in risk assessment for third-party solutions handling sensitive information.

  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations across global markets (GDPR, EU AI Act, CCPA, etc.).

Vendor Management:

  • Experience with the vendor lifecycle, including procurement processes, commercial negotiations, and relationship management in regulated environments.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
