About Boon Technologies, Inc.

Boon is an AI agent platform designed specifically for supply chain and logistics providers—the backbone of our economy. Founded in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2023 by product and engineering leaders from Samsara, Apple, Google and DoorDash. Boon is backed by leading Silicon Valley venture capitalists.

At Boon, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of AI-driven supply chain and logistics operations. Our team is dedicated to constant innovation, empowering customers to streamline crucial operational and revenue-generating workflows. We enable logistics providers to serve their customers better, delivering food, supplies, equipment, and people swiftly and efficiently. Joining us at this early stage means you’ll have significant autonomy and opportunities to make an immediate and lasting impact on a vital industry.

About the Role

As an Implementation Consultant at Boon AI, you’ll lead the successful onboarding of new trucking and logistics customers, ensuring our AI platform is seamlessly configured to deliver measurable ROI. You’ll partner with operations leaders, dispatchers, and back-office stakeholders to design, implement, and train teams on how to integrate Boon’s AI agents into their daily workflows. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring strong technical fluency, domain empathy, and program management discipline.

You’ll serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer onboarding journey—from initial discovery through go-live—and play a critical role in driving operational transformation at the heart of American logistics.

In this role, you will:Client Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary contact for enterprise clients, building strong relationships with executives and operations teams.

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand client needs and logistics workflows.

  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Business Value Realization
  • Partner with clients to identify and quantify value (e.g., cost savings, efficiency gains).

  • Build ROI cases to secure buy-in and track KPIs to measure success.

Technical Project Management
  • Manage multiple implementation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.

  • Create project plans, allocate resources, and resolve issues to maintain momentum.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution.

Solution Design & Integration Implementation
  • Translate requirements into technical specs and configure AI solutions to fit workflows.

  • Lead integration with client systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.) and ensure seamless performance.

  • Conduct testing to meet quality and performance standards.

Training, Adoption & Change Management
  • Deliver training to drive user adoption of the Boon platform.

  • Execute change management plans to support process transitions and maximize adoption.

  • Provide ongoing support and act as a logistics solutions expert.

You’re a Great Fit If:
  • You’ve led software implementations, process redesigns, or customer onboarding projects in logistics, SaaS, or other technology and transportation industries

  • You have experience managing system integrations and data pipelines—particularly via APIs

  • You’re comfortable working directly with dispatchers, safety managers, and operational teams to understand workflows and pain points

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy bringing structure to ambiguity

  • You’re a clear communicator who can manage timelines, surface risks, and build customer trust across multiple personas

  • You take ownership of outcomes and don’t wait to be told what’s broken—you find and fix it

  • You have experience with AI/ML solutions or SaaS platforms

  • You have experience working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment

Minimum requirements for the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in an Implementation Consultant, Solutions Consultant, Technical Project Manager, or similar customer-facing role

  • Proven experience working with enterprise-level companies, particularly in complex, long-cycle implementations

  • Demonstrable experience in building quantitative business value and ROI models for technology solutions

  • Strong technical project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software implementations. PMP or Agile certifications are a plus

  • Deep understanding of transportation and logistics operations, including areas such as fleet management, route optimization, warehouse operations, supply chain planning, and last-mile delivery

Compensation

At Boon, we want to attract and retain the best employees and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the above mentioned factors, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. A Boon employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company.

Boon Is An Equal Opportunity Employer

As an equal-opportunity employer, Boon is committed to providing employment opportunities to all individuals. All applicants for positions at Boon will be treated without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, marital status, veteran status, pregnancy, or any other basis prohibited by applicable law.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
