Team Overview:
The Aladdin Post Trade Investment Operations team builds and operates mission critical platforms supporting the post trade investment lifecycle, including performance calculation, trade settlement and confirmation, derivatives and corporate actions processing, payments, and reconciliation systems.
The team focuses on scalability, accuracy, resilience, and high quality client outcomes.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a senior full stack engineer with strong backend and distributed systems expertise, who actively leverages AI assisted development and agentic workflows to accelerate delivery and improve engineering quality.
You will design, build, and operate high scale systems while helping shape how AI is responsibly integrated into enterprise software development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using AI assisted development tools
- Architect and implement agentic AI workflows, including multi agent orchestration and autonomous task execution
- Provide technical leadership in software design, architecture, and AI augmented engineering practices
- Build responsive user interfaces using React or Angular and integrate with backend services via API first architectures
- Design and operate distributed systems with a strong focus on resiliency, idempotency, failure handling, and scalability
- Collaborate with cross functional teams across regions to deliver high quality solutions
- Drive delivery planning, prioritization, and execution against business commitments
- Ensure system quality through automated testing, AI assisted code reviews, and production support
- Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI, LLM, and engineering tooling
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong programming experience in Java, Python.
- Experience using AI assisted development tools in production workflows
- Practical experience building agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Google ADK, AutoGen, or CrewAI
- Experience integrating large language models via APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI)
- Frontend experience with React or Angular, TypeScript, and responsive web design
- Backend experience with Spring, messaging systems such as Kafka, and API development (REST, gRPC, GraphQL)
- Strong experience with multithreading, concurrency primitives, and building thread safe, high throughput systems
- Experience with relational (Sybase, MSSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, performance tuning, and scalability
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong collaboration and communication skills
Qualifications:
- B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject area
- 5-7+ years of hands on development experience
- 1+ years of demonstrable experience using AI assisted development tools in production workflows
- Experience building or contributing to at least one agentic AI system or multi agent workflow
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Exposure to large scale distributed systems
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with MCP, A2A, or similar agent communication standards
- Experience with model tuning, embeddings/vector search, evaluation and testing
- Interest in finance, investment workflows, or enterprise AI governance
