AI Audit & Regulatory Reviews Manager

About the Role

At Santander, we are building a world-class AI & Data organization to drive innovation at scale and impact the lives of over 170 million people globally. As part of our strategic ambition to become an AI-First bank, we are seeking an AI Audits & Supervisory Reviews Manager.

You will lead the coordination of AI-related audits, regulatory inspections, and second-line reviews, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and well-governed responses across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Regulatory Management

• Coordinate internal and external audits related to AI.

• Manage regulatory reviews and supervisory requests.

• Coordinate 2LoD reviews involving Compliance, Risk, or Model teams.

Execution & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare audit and regulatory materials, evidence, and responses.

• Lead remediation action plans and track follow-up activities.

• Identify recurring issues, emerging risks, and opportunities to strengthen the AI GRC framework.

Education

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or similar. (Required)
   

Professional Experience

• More than 10 years experience in internal audit, supervision, compliance, or risk management. Direct exposure to regulatory inspections is highly valued. (Required)

Hard Skills

• Knowledge of financial services regulation and AI governance and control models. (Required)
   

Soft Skills

• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
