Position Overview:

Are you energized by helping uncover solutions to real world problems? As part of the Global Services – Payments Team, the Product Owner will be working with Product Manager(s) on developing our central payments products used by all our applications to transact across the globe onsite and online. You will have the opportunity to work closely with UX Designers and Engineering to build out stories that bring payments services to life. You will own the day-to-day execution of scrum team efforts that align with our roadmap delivery.

As a member of the Global Services – Payments Team, you’ll play a key role in the execution of our roadmap efforts. We're looking for team members who have a strong technical background, can quickly break down complex problems and deliver creative solutions to ensure product success. A qualified Product Owner will have proven experience in a fast-paced environment, knowledge and understanding of the SDLC, and have incredible attention to detail. A great candidate will also have strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Some experience with ecommerce checkout experience, payment processing, or payment gateways is desirable.

Location: This role offers 100% remote flexibility anywhere in the U.S.!
Reports to: Manager, Product Management
Travel ✈️ Requirement: Less than 10%

What you'll be working on:

  • Collaborate with Product Manager(s) to prioritize development efforts and deliver against roadmap commitments
  • Define new features by writing user stories and acceptance criteria; own and prioritize the backlog; triage defects and manage fly-ins to optimize business support
  • Lead scrum ceremonies; participate in feedback sessions, design reviews etc. in support of feature development.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and partners (internal and external) to understand requirements and build solutions for identified objectives
  • Deliver polished product features and support go to market and product adoption efforts
  • Present new features and capabilities to internal teams through PowerPoints, Webinars, and live demos.
  • Develop subject matter expertise over your product domain

What you bring to the role:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); exceptional attention to detail; strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with agile methodology and ability to apply agile mindset to all aspects of your work.
  • Ability to gather qualitative feedback, perform self-driven research, and synthesize the information into to product requirements
  • Ability to think critically and creatively problem solve when solutions are impacted by business or technical constraints
  • Ability to identify priorities and manage risk based on product roadmaps and client knowledge with the support of your team

Salary offered is based upon experience.
