As an Agency Development Representative, you will nurture agency relationships, manage outbound prospecting, and facilitate sales progression for agency accounts.
As an Agency Development Representative (ADR), your focus is on nurturing, maintaining and cultivating customer relationships and success from existing and newly created agency accounts. Agency Development Representatives will be responsible for progressing clients through the sales funnel for pursuit of contract and send higher revenue agencies to the Agency Business Unit (ABU) Sales personnel. Agency Development Representatives will also be responsible for managing outbound prospecting of marketing qualified leads (MQLs) generated from marketing campaigns, etc.
What You Will Do
- Nurtures, maintains and cultivates customer relationships and success from existing and newly created public relations, investor relations and marketing agency accounts.
- Contacts customers through telephone, email, and social media to convey knowledge and position yourself as a resource and expert within investor relations, financial reporting, public relations, marketing, and corporate communications industries.
- Field incoming emails and phone calls from prospective and existing clients. This includes but is not limited to queries on pricing, billing/collection matters, general product information and other related questions
- Develops thorough knowledge of the industry, our products and services, as well as those of our competitors.
- Effectively communicates the value proposition and ROI of Business Wire products and services.
- Maintains accurate records of all sales activities, including sales calls, meetings, opportunities, emails, social outreach, in Salesforce CRM.
- Maximizes results by satisfying multiple buyers in an organization and systematically address conflicting needs of multiple buyer influencers.
- Works Collaboratively in a group setting to achieve shared results
- Research prospects and identifies stakeholders in order to generate interest and create rapport.
- Manages expectations and overcomes objections in an effective manner.
What You Will Need
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with clients across an organizational hierarchy, including executive/C-level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Exceptional time management skills displaying the ability to manage multiple tasks with strict attention to detail.
- Resilience, perseverance, and the ability to overcome objections a must.
- Self-disciplined, organized and ambitious with the ability to consistently hit daily and monthly objectives.
- Understanding and ability to communicate at a high level with professionals in investor relations, financial reporting, public relations, marketing, and corporate communications preferred.
- BA/BS degree, or international equivalent, preferred.
- 1 year of sales experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com and HubSpot preferred.

- The base salary range for this position is $50K to $60K/year. Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
