About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, results-driven Affiliate Marketing Lead to own and scale Apollo’s Affiliate Program into a major growth channel. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end strategy, execution, and optimization of the affiliate program, with a focus on unlocking new revenue through partner expansion and vertical diversification. You’ll manage a high-performing affiliate specialist, test into new markets and partner segments, and accelerate growth with Apollo’s most impactful affiliates.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership opportunity for someone excited to build and grow a top-tier affiliate program in a product-led growth environment. You’ll work cross-functionally with growth, product, marketing, and operations to scale Apollo’s reach and influence through innovative, data-backed partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale Apollo’s Affiliate Program—owning the strategy, roadmap, and execution plan to grow it into a top-performing acquisition channel.
  • Test into new affiliate verticals and opportunities, identifying untapped audiences, categories, and platforms that align with Apollo’s customer profile and growth strategy.
  • Accelerate performance with existing partners through enablement, ongoing optimization, and performance-based incentives.
  • Manage and mentor a dedicated team member, supporting their growth and ensuring consistent execution across the program.
  • Identify and recruit high-potential affiliate partners, including influencers, media publishers, B2B SaaS communities, and review sites.
  • Design and execute campaigns, promotions, and creative initiatives that drive affiliate engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Monitor and analyze performance KPIs regularly—using data to inform decisions, optimize initiatives, and iterate on strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in growth, product, content, and lifecycle marketing to maximize partner performance and alignment with broader marketing efforts.
  • Leverage PartnerStack to manage workflows, track partner activity, and scale operations.
  • Maintain best practices in compliance, tracking, attribution, and communication to uphold the integrity and trust of Apollo’s affiliate program.

Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of experience in affiliate marketing, partner management, or performance marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in owning and growing affiliate programs, with measurable revenue results.
  • Experience testing and scaling new partner verticals and emerging affiliate channels.
  • Strong performance and analytical mindset—you make decisions based on metrics, and you’re comfortable navigating data to find insights.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working with PRM tools, direct experience with PartnerStack is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
  • You’ve managed at least one direct report and are excited to coach and lead.

*Must be a resident of the United States

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
