This is a U.S. based remote position. While this role does not require in-person attendance, we have a preference for candidates based in or near one of these cities: San Francisco CA, Portland OR, Seattle WA, Denver CO, and New York NY. Being in one of these cities creates opportunities to connect with teammates through Trail Days, co-working sessions, and local gatherings while still having the flexibility to work remotely. San Francisco employees are highly encouraged to come to the office one day per week.
About the Role
The AllTrails marketing team is building a global, beloved outdoors brand. We launch and scale creative, impactful initiatives to drive awareness of the AllTrails brand and bring more people onto the AllTrails platform.
The Affiliate Marketing Associate is on the Brand Engagement team and reports to the Senior Lead, Affiliate Partnerships. This role is responsible for owning the execution of AllTrails’ global affiliate program while contributing strategic insights based on partner performance and market trends. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to scale a high-impact growth channel and expand AllTrails’ global reach.

What You'll be Doing
Own day-to-day execution of AllTrails’ affiliate program, including partner onboarding, communications, and campaign management
Identify, recruit, and activate new affiliate partners to drive incremental growth and brand visibility
Manage and grow relationships with existing partners, optimizing for long-term performance and engagement
Analyze affiliate performance and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and forecasting
Translate data and partner insights into actionable recommendations to support program strategy and scaling opportunities
Execute within affiliate platforms (e.g., Impact), including application, link tracking, promotions, and partner communications
Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, Product, Growth, Lifecycle, Paid, and Brand teams to align affiliate efforts with broader marketing initiatives
Partner closely with PR and marketing teams to surface insights, support campaigns, and identify timely partnership opportunities
Stay current on affiliate trends, media narratives, and emerging partnership opportunities
Support the Senior Lead and Brand Engagement team on other priority partnerships and initiatives as needed
What You Bring
1-4 years of experience including experience in Affiliate Marketing (DTC or subscription service preferred)
Strong understanding of the affiliate marketing ecosystem, including publishers, networks, and commerce media
Experience working with affiliate platforms (e.g., Impact, ShareASale, Rakuten, CJ)
Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Amplitude, Google Analytics) to analyze performance and inform decisions
Proven ability to manage multiple partners and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally
Familiarity with global or international affiliate programs
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Passion for the outdoors and AllTrails’ mission
Bonus:
Agency experience supporting affiliate or partnership programs
Experience working at a mobile-first B2C company
High-growth or subscription business experience
Experience with affiliate networks (Impact)
Experience with tools including Figma, Confluence, Looker
