About the Role
We’re looking for a driven, creative, and collaborative Instructional Designer Intern to join our Revenue Enablement team. Your mission: design and build an engaging, outcomes-based onboarding workshop for our Sales, Business Development, and Solutions Engineering teams.

This isn’t just theory, you’ll take existing documentation and turn it into a dynamic, one-week intensive onboarding experience. You'll design interactive sessions that make people think, do, and apply. The experience should work both in person and virtually, with a focus on what teams need to know, do, say, and show to be successful in their roles.

What You’ll Do

  • Create a high-impact, one-week onboarding workshop experience that is flexible for both live and virtual delivery
  • Define clear learning objectives, outcomes, and calls to action for each workshop module
  • Translate existing documentation into real-world learning experiences with clear outcomes, outputs, and behaviors that drive real-world results
  • Interview subject matter experts, observe current programs, and recommend ways to elevate the learner experience
  • Build slide decks, hands-on activities, facilitator guides, and learner-facing content rooted in adult learning principles
  • Customize breakout tracks to support role-specific learning paths (AEs, BDRs, and SEs)
  • Ensure every detail supports an engaging, clear, and job-ready experience

What We’re Looking For

  • You’re pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Learning Experience Design, Educational Technology, or a related field
  • Familiar with adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)
  • Skilled at turning information and documentation into hands-on, engaging learning experiences
  • Proficient with design tools like Articulate, Rise, Canva, Figma, or similar
  • Comfortable using generative AI tools to ideate, refine, or accelerate content creation
  • Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders and asking great questions
  • Curious, resourceful, and passionate about making learning stick
  • Bonus: Exposure to sales, customer success, or B2B tech environments

What You’ll Gain

  • End-to-end ownership of a workshop that directly impacts revenue teams
  • A project you’ll be proud to showcase in your portfolio
  • Mentorship and feedback from experienced learning leaders
  • A fast-paced, supportive team that values clarity, action, and creativity

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
