We have an exciting opportunity for an Advisor Team Communication Lead that will play a key role in enhancing the effectiveness, clarity, and consistency of communications between corporate departments and advisor teams. This role serves as a strategic liaison, ensuring that advisors receive timely, relevant, and actionable information that supports their success and aligns with the firm’s goals.
This role can be performed remotely from any location in the United States.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share this role includes a base salary of $90,000.00 to $110,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions
Strategic Communication Planning
Develop and execute internal communication strategies tailored to advisor needs
Align messaging with corporate objectives and advisor engagement goals
Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and schedule communications
Content Development and Management
Create, edit, and manage high-quality content including newsletters, announcements, FAQs, talking points, and presentations
Translate complex financial or operational updates into clear, advisor-friendly language
Maintain a consistent tone and voice across all advisor-facing materials
Cross-Functional Liaison
Serve as the primary point of contact between corporate departments (e.g., Marketing, Compliance, Product, Operations) and advisor teams
Facilitate the flow of information, ensuring advisors are informed of key initiatives, changes, and opportunities
Gather feedback from advisors and relay insights to corporate stakeholders
Process Improvement and Communication Tools
Evaluate and enhance communication channels and tools (e.g., website, email platforms, CRM)
Implement best practices for message delivery, frequency, and format
Monitor communication effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data and feedback
Advisor Engagement and Support
Support advisor onboarding and ongoing education through communication initiatives
Coordinate with training and development teams to ensure alignment of messaging
Promote advisor participation in firm-wide initiatives, events, and programs
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism, or a related field
5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or advisor support within the financial services industry
Strong understanding of financial advisory business models and advisor needs
Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Experience with communication platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Salesforce, intranet tools)
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality
Experience with Workday preferred
WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as the Lead level is $87,400.00 to $131,000.00. However, the base salary range bolded above is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
