The opportunity

Altruist is in the midst of an exceptional growth phase and we’re excited to hire an Advisor Support Representative to join our growing Customer Success team. In this role, you will respond to inquiries from Registered Investment Advisor via chat, email and phone using an interaction model and a desire to provide a delightful experience. You will collaborate internally with our product team via Salesforce and JIRA to answer advisor questions. You will actively participate in your team environment to contribute to a highly engaged organizational culture.

Your impact

  • Utilize proprietary and partner systems to diagnose and resolve complex customer inquiries spanning across account opening, funding, trading, fee billing, reporting, and account maintenance
  • Sleuth defects and proactively shepherd to resolution
  • Provide exceptional customer service -- go above and beyond to foster rapport, delight customers, and drive loyalty
  • Become an expert in Altruist’s product offering
  • Translate complex customer issues for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Tag data and feedback gathered through customer interactions to help Altruist prioritize product roadmap and process optimization decisions
  • Help maintain and update response templates and platform FAQs
  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory guidelines at all times

What you bring

  • Experience
    • 2+ years of customer support or call-center experience
    • 2+ years broker-dealer operations or clearing firm experience
    • Working knowledge of investing and what Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) do on behalf of their clients
  • Technical aptitude - You’re technologically savvy and can easily get up to speed on modern tech stacks and ticket management systems (i.e., Salesforce Jira, etc.)
  • Ownership - The pride you put into every aspect of your work is unparalleled and undeniable
  • Superb communication - Intentional dialogue is a superpower. You listen as well as you share your perspective with others.

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs) for eligible roles.
