Job Summary
Responsible for developing, servicing, and maintaining a base of local clients and/or agencies who purchase multiscreen advertising solutions-including linear, addressable, and streaming inventory-as well as other media services to achieve established annual sales goals within the assigned sales team. This role requires a self motivated, highly driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who proactively seeks out new business opportunities, takes initiative, and consistently strives for growth. The position offers zone and market wide buying to allow local advertisers the opportunity to reach only the customers within their retail trading areas. Works with moderate guidance within their area of expertise while demonstrating strong ownership of outcomes, resourcefulness, self-sufficiency, and a proactive approach to problem solving. This is a medium budget role with expectations pf growth into a larger role.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
  • Analyze, develop, and present market research and multiscreen advertising proposals that support client marketing initiatives, demonstrating intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, and strong analytical skills.
  • Assist in developing marketing activities that generate local ad sales revenue using a proactive, growth‑oriented mindset.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute client requirements including scheduling, booking, monitoring campaign activity, and managing collections with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Maintain current customer and prospect records and contribute to weekly sales forecasts with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Complete all required documentation and reporting related to contracts, advertising schedules, sales activity, and expenses with precision and timeliness.
  • Seek and develop new business opportunities by continuously prospecting within the company's planned sales strategies, demonstrating drive, active listening, and entrepreneurial initiative.
  • Prepare and manage confidential reports, agendas, manuals, and general correspondence using sound judgment and discretion.
  • Communicate value propositions clearly and effectively, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a persuasive yet empathetic approach.
  • Develop and sustain long-term client relationships by understanding client needs, providing solutions, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Utilize proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and related business tools to create organized, detail‑rich proposals, presentations, and reporting.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, applying structured problem‑solving approaches, evaluating complex information, and identifying actionable solutions. Must be able to articulate examples of critical thinking processes during decision‑making, client needs assessment, and campaign planning.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: This job can be performed in California with a good faith estimated pay range upon hire of $63,236.66 - $84,315.54 USD.
Additional Range: This job can be performed in California with a good faith estimated pay range upon hire of $51,739.08 USD - $95,813.11.
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within the posted range for this role at the time of posting dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Targeted Commission: $69,677.00
Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
