Compensation: $50 - $80 per hour
We are seeking highly accomplished STEM PhD professionals to contribute to a premier research initiative with a leading AI lab. In this role, you will apply your domain expertise to support the development of next-generation large language models by creating high-quality, challenging problems and datasets that enhance model reasoning and performance.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with deep subject matter expertise, strong analytical thinking, and a passion for advancing AI through rigorous, domain-specific contributions.


Requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Design complex, high-quality problems and scenarios within your area of expertise
  • Contribute to the creation of datasets that improve AI model reasoning and accuracy
  • Apply domain knowledge to ensure technical correctness and depth
  • Review and refine content to meet high standards of clarity and rigor
  • Collaborate in a remote, asynchronous environment while adhering to structured guidelines

Who You Are

  • PhD in a STEM field from a university in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Europe (e.g., Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High proficiency in English

Engagement Details

  • Ongoing role starting in April with rolling applications
  • Expected commitment of 15–20 hours per week, with potential to increase up to 40 hours per week
  • Fully remote with a flexible, self-managed schedule

Screening Process

  • Short interview (approximately 20–30 minutes) to assess domain expertise and communication skills

Compensation & Payments

  • Competitive compensation based on experience and specialization
