Airbnb is seeking an Advanced Analytics Intern to join the Homes Business Analytics team within the Finance organization for the 2026 Summer Intern Program.
The Homes Business Analytics team at Airbnb enables, facilitates, and streamlines integrated data-driven decision making across the organization. The team is committed to operational excellence and community experience through a culture of problem-solving, guided by data and research. We identify opportunity areas through analytical deep dives, design and run experiments and tests to understand how changes impact our business, and implement objective indicators of success.
We are looking for someone curious about business and data, who can both understand the ‘what’ and help translate that into decisions. An ideal candidate would have some familiarity with analytical methodologies, BI tooling, and business communication.

As an Advanced Analytics Intern at Airbnb, you’ll be an integral part of our cross-functional product teams where you will face our company’s most ambitious goals. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Build comprehensive and high quality data analysis, developing a deep understanding on how guests and hosts interact with our products and services and identifying areas of opportunity and development
- Partner with Product Marketing, Engineering, and Design to guide guest roadmap through data story-telling
- Use data methodologies and frameworks to measure and track product performance, defining and monitoring key success for the team
A typical day:
During your internship you’ll be integrated into a team where you’ll contribute to challenging projects. Your manager, team, and our incredible employee community will strive to be superhosts to you during the summer. We provide the support, mentorship, fun, and real world experience needed to accelerate your learning and make a real impact on our product, as Airbnb revolutionizes connection, belonging, and travel. You’ll be expected to:
- Own and complete a capstone project from beginning to end
- Collaborate with multiple team members to achieve project milestones
- Communicate with stakeholders across different teams to provide project updates
- Seek and provide feedback throughout the internship
- Actively participate in and contribute to the Finance/Advanced Analytics team and broader Airbnb community
Your expertise:
This opportunity is for full-time students completing a Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Data Science, Mathematics, Analytics, Statistics, Econometrics, etc.) with at least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
- Proficient in communication and collaboration, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse teams and individuals
- Skilled in conducting thorough and inclusive analyses, ensuring that findings are communicated clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Possesses robust data, statistical analysis, and analytics skills, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of complex datasets.
- Substantial experience in SQL, along with a solid foundation in at least one programming language (Python or R)
- Preferred (not required): Familiarity with product analytics and/or A/B testing
- Demonstrated interest in high growth, technology, and/or hospitality companies
- Work authorization for employment in the United States is required (CPT/OPT with 2-year STEM extension is accepted)
Your location:
This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
