About Us: Inca Digital is a veteran-owned data and intelligence company specializing in digital-asset analytics for exchanges, financial institutions, regulators, and blockchain ecosystems. Our technology and expertise provide clarity across crypto markets, tracking blockchain transactions, liquidity movements, and illicit finance, helping clients identify risk, enhance transparency, and improve decision-making. Inca’s infrastructure fuses structured and unstructured data from blockchains, exchanges, social networks, and financial markets. The result is a powerful analytics engine that supports ecosystem monitoring, market surveillance, and counter–illicit finance intelligence across digital-asset networks. Inca operates as a fast paced, nimble, global, and remote technology company. We leverage an asynchronous‑first workflow, try to minimize time spent on meetings, believe in open‑debate and logic over authority. Work alongside some of the sharpest minds in the world, including intelligence analysts, defense veterans, data engineers, quant researchers, linguists, and more.

Role Overview:

As an Advanced Analytics Crypto Expert (AACE), you will serve as the primary link between Inca’s complex data engine and our high-stakes clients. This role combines deep-dive technical investigation with high-level client management. We are looking for a relentless problem-solver with a detective’s mindset who can translate technical findings into clear strategic insights in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple accounts, managing expectations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Execute complex analytical workflows, which can include, open-source intelligence (OSINT) investigations, web scraping, and enhanced due diligence (EDD).
  • Review, audit, and aggregate technical data provided by cross-functional teams, transforming raw data into cohesive, high-level intelligence reports that provide clear context for client stakeholders.
  • Analyze large datasets to isolate key findings and identify actionable intelligence.
  • Clarify complex findings into clear, executive-level briefings and present intelligence reports.
  • Facilitate seamless cross-team coordination to ensure technical product requirements align with evolving client needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Highly personable with a proven track record in client-facing roles; ability to build rapport and manage high-stakes relationships effectively.
  • Must possess deep technical or professional expertise in at least one (preferably multiple) of the following areas:
    • Banking and regulatory compliance.
    • Cryptocurrency - blockchain forensics, smart contract decoding, and an understanding of crypto-native systems and terminology.
    • OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) skills.
  • Comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment and capable of juggling diverse, competing requests from various stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule; must be comfortable occasionally working outside of standard business hours to meet urgent client demands or global time-zone requirements
  • Must be fluent in English. While US citizenship is not required, it is preferred as it enables eligibility for specific government contracted projects and sensitive datasets.
  • All offers of employment are contingent upon a successful background check.

Why join us?

  • We operate in a fully remote, high-trust environment and we prioritize impact and delivered results over hours logged.
  • We offer competitive compensation paired with a comprehensive benefits suite, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
  • We invest in our people through childcare and wellness stipends and dedicated employee assistance resources.
  • Join a thought leader at the intersection of national security and digital assets, working with cutting-edge tech that defines the field.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
