Position Summary:

Responsible for planning, coordinating, managing and directing all activities and programs of Advanced Home Health.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Planning and directing operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services.
  2. Fiscal planning, budgeting and management
  3. Recruiting, employing and retaining qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  4. Evaluating services and programs.
  5. Ensuring personnel development including orientation, inservice education and continuing education.
  6. Coordinating with other program areas and management as appropriate.
  7. Maintaining currency on local trends and issues
  8. Ensuring that appropriate service policies are developed and implemented.
  9. Directing personnel in performance of their duties including admission, discharge and provision of service to patients.
  10. Assuring appropriate personnel supervision during all operating hours
  11. Appointing a similarly qualified alternate to be available at all times during operating hours in the absence of the administrator.

Position Qualifications:

  1. Completion of Home Care Administrator Certification course is preferred.
  2. At least three to five years' experience in health care management preferably in healthcare operations.
  3. Knowledge of corporate business management.

Skills Required:

  1. Demonstrated ability to Supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
  2. Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with the community.
  3. Demonstrates good communication and public relations skills.
