About the Role 

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative and Accounting Assistant to support our finance operations and ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient management of accounting and administrative processes. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in accounting and finance with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment. 

Key Responsibilities  

- Manage accurate recording of journal entries in accordance with Spanish GAAP. 

- Oversee account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. 

- Ensure compliance with applicable tax criteria and regulations in Spain. 

- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and reporting. 

- Support month-end and year-end closing processes. 

- Maintain financial documentation and records according to company and legal requirements. 



Requirements

Requirements (must-have) 

- Minimum C1 level of Spanish and fluent English (written and spoken). 

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, finance, accountancy or similar. 

- Proven knowledge of Spanish GAAP. 

- Understanding of tax criteria in Spain. 

- Demonstrated proficiency in account reconciliation tools and methods. 

- Experience in accurate recording and reporting of journal entries. 

- Must be legally authorized to work in Spain and currently based within Spain. 

Preferred Skills 

- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software. 

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 

And we would love it if you also…  

- Speak additional european languages besides spanish and english 

- Have experience working remotely with international teams
