This role supports the Chief Information Officer (CIO) by managing the calendar, screening correspondence, arranging meetings, and handling general administrative duties. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the CIO's office, enabling the CIO to focus on strategic initiatives and leadership.
Responsibilities
Manages executive’s calendar, schedules/coordinates meetings and appointments
Screens and responds to correspondence
Arranges small and large meetings or conferences by scheduling conference rooms, issuing meeting requests or invitations, and conference room prep
Other general administrative duties
Processing expense reports and travel arrangements
Miscellaneous duties as required
Assists with special projects and research, including contributing as a member of the IT Transformation team
Manages the IT Recognition Program; maintaining associated department SharePoint site
Creating and maintaining internal and external contacts
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in an executive assistant capacity, experience in supporting a Senior level Executive is preferred
Must be able to exercise initiative, professionalism, and confidentiality
Excellent computer skills specifically MS Office Suite. Working knowledge of SharePoint.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Demonstrates high problem-solving skills and be able to proactively troubleshoot
To perform efficiently, accuracy and attention to detail required
Must be able to work independently and multitask with ease
Identify work priorities and requirements up-front and make timely decisions
Demonstrates the ability to work with all levels of management.
Demonstrates the ability to work as part of an adjacent team, including contributing beyond your range of duties and experience.
Must be able to work flexible work hours to support Executive travel and various time zones
In depth knowledge of the television/entertainment industry is a plus
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
