About the Role

We are seeking an operationally rigorous Acquisitions Manager to lead our team of 3-4 Acquisition Specialists who focus on creator recruitment and onboarding. This role reports directly to the Head of Partnerships and will be responsible for developing and executing our creator acquisition strategy, building relationships with key creators, and ensuring our team meets or exceeds recruitment targets while maintaining Passes' quality standards and values.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3-4 Acquisitions Specialists focused on creator acquisition
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations
  • Implement structured processes for team reporting, pipeline management, and performance tracking
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on quality creator partnerships

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement data-driven creator acquisition strategies aligned with company goals
  • Establish recruitment targets and KPIs for the team and individual Acquisition Specialists
  • Create and manage the department budget in collaboration with the Head of Partnerships
  • Build and maintain scalable operational frameworks for acquisition processes

Creator Acquisition Oversight

  • Review and approve high-value or strategic creator partnerships
  • Implement and refine systematic approaches to creator evaluation and onboarding
  • Develop standardized operational procedures for the acquisition funnel
  • Analyze acquisition metrics and optimize the recruitment process for efficiency and quality

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Creator Success and Creator Support teams to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Collaborate with Marketing on creator-focused campaigns and initiatives
  • Partner with Product teams to provide feedback on platform features based on creator needs
  • Report acquisition performance and insights to executive leadership

Market Intelligence

  • Stay informed of relevant industry trends and competitor activities
  • Analyze acquisition data to identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships or initiatives
  • Develop systematic approaches to market and competitor analysis

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, account management, or similar roles
  • 2+ years of people management experience, preferably leading teams in a sales or acquisition function
  • Experience working at a technology company, marketplace, or platform business strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of implementing operational systems and processes that drive measurable results
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to guide decision-making
  • Familiarity with digital media landscapes, online platforms, or content ecosystems (specific creator economy expertise not required)
  • Experience with CRM systems, analytics tools, and performance tracking methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
