Job Description:
Responsible for managing the financial transactions and records related to incoming payments from customers or clients. A remote accounts receivable assistant plays a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of a business's operations, ensuring that payments are collected promptly and accurately while maintaining positive relationships with customers. While your duties will depend on the specific needs of your client, they will include, but not be limited to:
- Assist in the management of accounts receivable, including invoicing clients, posting payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and past due accounts, communicating with clients to resolve payment discrepancies and facilitate timely payments.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable transactions, updating customer information and payment status as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to address client inquiries and resolve billing issues promptly.
- Generate reports on accounts receivable status and aging to support financial analysis and decision-making.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing and analyzing accounts receivable reports.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing accounts receivable procedures and enhancing overall efficiency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related financial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines
Technical Requirements
- Processor: Intel 11th Gen (or AMD Ryzen 5000 series) for Windows | M2 for Macs.
- RAM: 16 GB minimum.
- Internet: Stable connection of 25-50 Mbps minimum.

- 0-3 months: $1,200 USD/month
