Archer Meat Snacks the #1 jerky brand in the Natural and Specialty Channel is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team.

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the accounting function, from preparing journal entries and reconciliations to supporting audits and preparing consolidated financial statements. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you’ll partner closely with colleagues across Finance and Operations to ensure accurate reporting and drive continuous improvement.

• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records
• Support field work for financial and operational audits
• Research and resolve account discrepancies to ensure accuracy
• Assist in preparing consolidated internal and external financial statements
• Maintain and balance automated consolidation systems, ensuring data integrity
• Develop and analyze spreadsheet reports for financial decision-making
• Reconcile accounts, accrue expenses, and process disbursements
• Provide accounting support across departments by reviewing financial information and converting data into reports
• Safeguard confidential company and financial information
• Continuously build accounting knowledge through professional development

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 2+ years of accounting or related experience
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial reports
