RIVO has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounting professional to join our growing team as our next Accounting Specialist!

We are looking for a hard working and driven professional who has a passion for all aspects of corporate Accounting, is customer service oriented, and will go above and beyond to meet the needs of the broader team and organization. What You'll Do:

• Enter company financial transactions into QuickBooks, verifying that all transactions are recorded accurately in the appropriate ledgers to successfully complete the posting process.
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements, ensuring the books are brought to the accurate trial balance stage before finalizing and processing.
• Process incoming Accounts Receivable payments and outgoing Accounts Payable payments, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Reconcile invoices, researching, tracking, identifying, and rectifying discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitor and update company expense reports, escalating discrepancies for further approval when needed.
• Process reimbursement forms, ensuring proper documentation and approval is obtained before payouts.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual audits, and assist with the completion of tax forms.
• Function in accordance with established accounting standards, procedures and applicable laws
• Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We Look For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• At least 1 year of previous work or internship experience as an Accounting Assistant, Accounting Specialist, Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accountant etc. required.
• Standard knowledge of accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable principles and standard bookkeeping procedures.
• Prior payroll experience is a strong plus. 
• Strong knowledge of finance and tax regulations.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software (e.g. ADP Workforce, QuickBooks).
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to analyze and review standard accounting reports.
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with the utmost discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you will be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job is $25.00 to $33.00 per hour. Individual salaries within those ranges takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; knowledge and skill sets; and other business and organizational needs.
