Job Description

The Accounting & Reporting Analyst holds a pivotal position within the outsourcing team and is instrumental in the delivery of our services. In collaboration with the team, the Analyst bears the critical responsibility for day-to-day tactical client support, ensuring the punctual and precise execution of all aspects pertaining to equity plan accounting and financial reporting deliverables.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing comprehensive support for our administrative and financial reporting offerings.

  • Execute the processing and delivery of client financial reporting data with utmost precision, adhering strictly to client-defined reporting schedules.

  • Assume full accountability for the management and tracking of data reconciliations, necessitating in-depth system knowledge and meticulous attention to detail in investigating client-specific data anomalies.

  • Collaborate with clients to establish, implement, execute, and oversee ad-hoc requests for support and analysis, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and timeliness.

  • Conduct thorough identification and development of process benchmarks and standard methodologies across the client base, continuously striving for operational excellence.

  • Provide comprehensive training to client contacts on the utilization of the reporting platform and its functionalities, ensuring optimal use of our services.

  • Maintain a high level of engagement with client contacts and cultivate long-term professional relationships to facilitate end-to-end service delivery of the utmost quality.


Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  2. Minimum of three years of professional experience in customer service, with a strong preference for corporate client interactions.
  3. Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple client deliverables while consistently maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
  4. Capacity to develop a comprehensive understanding of stock options, employee stock purchase plans, restricted and performance awards, ASC 718, and/or corporate accounting administration.
  5. Commitment to pursuing the Certified Equity Plan Certificate level one (ECA accreditation).
  6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  8. Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment and contribute effectively to team objectives.
  9. Strong analytical capabilities and independent problem-solving skills, with a track record of resolving complex issues.
  10. Superior organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple clients' tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment.
  11. Meticulous attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to consistently deliver complete and accurate results.
  12. Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  13. Knowledge of equity compensation fundamentals is highly advantageous.

This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
