The Opportunity
As a full-time Accounting Manager Consultant, you’ll bring hands-on leadership and accounting expertise to support our clients through critical transitions, fast growth, and evolving reporting needs. You’ll lead initiatives that enhance close processes, ensure compliance, and provide clarity to senior leadership—without the travel demands of traditional consulting.
Engagements are tailored to align with your strengths while supporting continuous development.
Examples of recent Accounting Manager-level engagements include:
- Leading the monthly close and reporting process for a high-growth consumer products company
- Supporting the first-year audit of a newly funded startup by building PBC schedules and driving audit readiness
- Implementing new accounting standards (ASC 606, ASC 842) and drafting technical memos
- Improving reconciliations and streamlining journal entry workflows using BlackLine
- Managing external audit coordination, issue resolution, and internal controls documentation
- Assisting in ERP implementations and optimizing subledger integrations
You’ll act as a trusted partner to clients’ finance teams, delivering stability, clarity, and results.

- Have strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close best practices
- Bring 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership
- Are confident managing audits, reconciliations, and reporting processes
- Are comfortable adapting to new systems (NetSuite, SAP, BlackLine, etc.)
- Enjoy fast-moving environments and building client relationships
