💡 The Role

We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely, GAAP-compliant financial reporting. You’ll own the month-end close, payroll, AP, and billing — and you’ll lead a small team that keeps our financial engine running smoothly.

Working closely with the VP of Finance, you’ll ensure our financial data is reliable, our processes scale effectively, and leadership has the clarity needed to make informed decisions.

This role is perfect for someone who loves precision, moves fast, and makes complex accounting look effortless.

🎬 What You’ll Do

📊 Own the general ledger and month-end close — journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

👥 Lead and develop the GL, AP, and Payroll team with strong controls and coverage.

💵 Oversee corporate and production payroll, commissions, bonuses, and benefits reconciliation.

🧾 Manage accounts payable, spend controls (Ramp), billing, invoicing, and collections.

🛠 Own our accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, Ramp, Rippling, Wrapbook) and ensure accurate data flow.

📈 Improve processes, reporting, and controls as the business scales.

🏦 Handle cash activity, wire transfers, audits, and compliance filings.

🔍 Use analytics and SQL to support high-volume data reconciliations.

🧬 Who You Are

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

📅 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience.

✅ Proven experience managing AP, Payroll, and GL functions.

💻 Strong experience with QuickBooks Online.

📊 Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; SQL or data skills a plus.

🔧 Experience with Ramp, Rippling, Wrapbook, or similar tools preferred.

🌎 Comfortable with multi-state, global, and contractor payroll.

🧠 Highly organized and detail-oriented — you catch what others miss.

⚡ Comfortable managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

🔄 Proactive about improving systems and processes.
